Crash on I-220 Leaves Two Possibly Ejected, Three Injured

JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson police and emergency responders attended a serious accident on I-220 near Medgar Evers Blvd. on May 30 around 2:41 PM.
Authorities reported that three individuals were injured, including two who may have been ejected from the vehicle. All injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses noted the significant damage to a single vehicle involved, which was subsequently loaded onto a tow truck. Damage to the median ramp was also observed at the scene.
There were lane closures during the investigation, but all affected areas have since reopened. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
