FLORENCE, Miss. — A school bus and an 18-wheeler hauling grain collided Monday morning at approximately 7 a.m. on Eagle Post Road and Highway 49 South.
According to Florence Police Chief Brad Burns, no children were on the bus at the time of the crash. The bus driver was injured and transported to a hospital, while the truck driver was unharmed.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
