SWANSEA, MA – A 67-year-old man died Friday morning in a collision between his three-wheeled motorcycle and a dump truck on Route 6.
Alan Scott of Somerset was involved in the crash at approximately 8:20 a.m. near Milford Road, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the hospital.
The driver of the dump truck was not reported injured.
Witnesses reported seeing the dump truck collide with the side of the Can Am Spyder Roadster.
Swansea Police and State Police are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities did not disclose potential causes or whether citations or charges are pending.
