Plymouth Collision Claims Life of 18-Year-Old
PLYMOUTH, MA – A car and an SUV collided early Friday morning, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old and injuries to two others.
The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Route 3A and Main Street. According to authorities, the collision involved a sedan and a sport utility vehicle traveling northbound.
Emergency responders, including the Plymouth Fire Department and State Police, arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. Paramedics transported the injured—a 19-year-old driver and a 17-year-old passenger—to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the 18-year-old died at the scene. The identities of the individuals involved have not yet been released pending notification of their families.
The road was temporarily closed in both directions as emergency crews managed the scene and conducted an investigation. Towing services removed the vehicles, and lane closures were lifted by around 10:30 a.m.
