Three injured after car crashes into salon in Danvers, Mass.
DANVERS, Mass. —
Three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries when a vehicle crashed into Beijo Beauty salon on Newbury Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Danvers Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of the incident and found damage to the front of the salon. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with loud noises and panic among those present. One stylist reported, “It felt like a bomb went off.”
The salon has been operating for about a year and is currently busy with wedding bookings. The owner indicated they will communicate updates to clients via their Facebook page.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and it remains unclear if the driver will face any charges.
