Three injured in Lake of the Ozarks crash

Eldon Women Injured in Lake of the Ozarks Crash

Two women from Eldon and a man from Maryland Heights were transported to a hospital following a crash at Lake of the Ozarks on Sunday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred at 6:18 p.m. on Route F, near Four Waters Drive. A 2019 Camaro, driven by a 19-year-old Eldon man, crossed the centerline and veered off the left side of the roadway, striking a tree.

The passenger from Maryland Heights, a 21-year-old male, and one of the Eldon women, aged 20, sustained minor injuries. The second Eldon woman, also 20 years old, incurred serious injuries. All three were transported to Lake Regional Hospital.

The driver did not report any injuries. MSHP noted that while the driver was wearing a seatbelt, the injured passengers were not restrained at the time of the crash.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
