Authorities said a 69-year-old Allendale resident driving the Lexus SUV was traveling west on Pierce Street when he pulled into the path of a northbound black Jeep SUV. The Jeep, driven by a 14-year-old girl with her 51-year-old father as a passenger, collided with the Lexus and crashed against a nearby home.
Emergency responders from the Allendale Township Fire Department extricated the teenage girl and her father, who were pinned inside the vehicle. Both were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The Lexus driver was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
