ROCKFORD, Ill. — A 17-year-old died following a serious car crash near Jefferson High School on November 13.
Rockford Police confirmed the teenager succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, which occurred shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Samuelson Road.
Witnesses reported a multi-vehicle collision with significant damage. Authorities responded promptly, and four individuals were transported to local hospitals. The condition of the other three victims remains uncertain.
Samuelson Road was initially closed to facilitate the emergency response but has since reopened.
