Suspected DWI driver in serious condition following crash in Camden County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) responded to a crash involving a Macks Creek man on Tuesday night.

The incident occurred around 9:55 p.m. on Doc Ridgeway Road, where a 1997 Explorer was traveling westbound.

The vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree, resulting in serious injuries to the driver.

A 36-year-old male, identified as Brandon D. Hunt, was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

Authorities stated that Hunt is under investigation for suspected Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway Resulting in a Crash.

MSHP confirmed that Hunt was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
