HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — A school bus crash involving an SUV hospitalized multiple students Thursday morning along U.S. 119 at the Rosspoint intersection.
According to the Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. The bus was carrying 23 high school students at the time.
The exact number of injured students has not been released. Family members of those affected have been notified by Harlan County Public Schools.
Emergency response crews remain on scene, although no road closure is currently in effect.
