OCALA, Fla. (CBS12) — Two Florida teens were arrested over the weekend for social media stunts involving a leaf blower and a lawnmower, according to police.

Janek Szkaradek and Luke Charske, both 18, were taken into custody by the Ocala Police Department on Saturday.

On Friday, Szkaradek reportedly caused a disturbance at a Culver's restaurant on SW College Road using a leaf blower, raising safety concerns for both employees and customers.

The following day, Szkaradek drove a lawnmower through the entrance of a Target store while Charske recorded the incident.

Szkaradek was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct related to both incidents, while Charske faces one count of disorderly conduct for filming the stunt.

Authorities urged the public to consider the potential consequences of such actions, emphasizing that “these are crimes, not harmless videos.”

Officials stated the teens' actions endangered patrons and resulted in property damage.
