BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. — A Seymour man was killed and three teenagers injured in a crash Thursday morning on State Road 11.
The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. near County Road 800 South. According to Indiana State Police, a 17-year-old girl was driving on State Road 11 when she crossed the centerline into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle collided head-on with a car driven by 18-year-old Aparicio Martin-Bartolome.
Both vehicles subsequently left the roadway. The girl sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Martin-Bartolome and a 15-year-old passenger were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
The front-seat passenger in Martin-Bartolome's car, 42-year-old Pascual Baltazar-Pascual, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and toxicology results are pending.
