Car Crash in Callaway County Leaves Driver Injured
CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO — A single-vehicle crash occurred Sunday night at approximately 10:30 p.m. on County Road 315.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling north when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and veered off the right side of the road. The vehicle subsequently returned to the roadway, overturned, and came to rest on its side.
The 22-year-old female driver from Fulton sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
MSHP is continuing its investigation into the accident. No additional vehicles were involved, and there were no reported fatalities.
