Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a school bus crash that occurred Thursday afternoon on I-95 north in Palm Beach County.
The incident took place just north of the Atlantic Avenue exit near Delray Beach, involving a School District of Palm Beach County bus and another vehicle, according to authorities.
The bus was carrying approximately 22 students from Palm Springs Middle School, returning from a field trip, along with three chaperones. No injuries were reported among the students or chaperones.
The bus driver sustained a minor injury and is expected to be released soon. Authorities confirmed that all students were transported back to Palm Springs Middle School by a school district transportation supervisor.
Parents were notified of the crash by phone, and students were picked up by their families. According to the school district, the driver of the other vehicle was deemed at fault.
