Ryan Blaney and Carson Hocevar collided during the NASCAR Bristol night race on Sept. 19, resulting in Blaney crashing and retiring from the event.

The incident occurred on Lap 457, when Hocevar made an aggressive move, causing Blaney to spin and hit the wall. Blaney ultimately finished 33rd, while Hocevar placed third.

Post-race, the two drivers engaged in a physical altercation on pit road. Witnesses reported Blaney pushing Hocevar, who then responded with a series of punches, including at least one that landed on Blaney's face.

Authorities reported chaos in the aftermath, with fans booing race winner Joey Logano in favor of the altercation involving Hocevar and Blaney. The spectacle drew considerable attention, as grand marshal Brad Pitt looked on.
