SOUTH WEBSTER, Ohio (WKRC) — A race driver and television personality, Chris Gordon, known as “Block,” died in a crash at KD Motorsports Park on Saturday night.

According to KD Motorsports Park, the incident occurred during a racing event in Scioto County, prompting the cancellation of the night's activities. Life-saving measures were attempted by rescue and EMS personnel, but Gordon was at the scene.

The racetrack released a statement asking fans to keep Gordon's family in their prayers. “As most of you know by now, we had a devastating accident last night at the track involving our great friend and fellow racer,” the statement read.
