(WJAR) — Authorities are investigating a rollover crash that occurred just after midnight on April 6, 2026, at the intersection of Edgewood Road and Roger Williams Park.
Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle overturned in the roadway. According to the Providence Police Department, an unknown vehicle struck a black Mercedes-Benz, causing it to roll over. The striking vehicle left the scene before responders arrived.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was unharmed. Emergency services responded to the incident; however, no additional injuries were reported. The crash is currently classified as a hit-and-run.
Authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details on lane closures or tows have been released at this time.
