Sioux Falls, SD – Two Drivers Killed in Friday Afternoon Crash
A three-vehicle crash near Sioux Falls on Friday resulted in two fatalities, confirmed around 12:40 p.m.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on Interstate 90, involving a sedan, an SUV, and a pickup truck. The names of the victims have not yet been released, but both were drivers aged 35 and 42.
Authorities reported that the crash led to the closure of the eastbound lanes for approximately two hours while emergency responders, including local fire and medical units, worked at the scene. Medical aid was provided, but both individuals succumbed to their injuries.
Towing services were called to remove the vehicles, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
