Traffic Accident on I-95 in Miami Leaves Multiple Injured
MIAMI, FL—A multi-vehicle accident occurred on I-95 southbound near 62nd Street on October 5 at approximately 3:15 PM, resulting in several injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved three cars and one semi-truck. Emergency responders from the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue assisted in extracting at least two individuals who were trapped in their vehicles.
Authorities reported that two people sustained serious injuries while four others experienced minor injuries. All injured were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment.
As a result of the accident, all southbound lanes of I-95 were closed for nearly two hours to facilitate the investigation and cleanup. Traffic was diverted to the 62nd Street exit.
