Troopers Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run in Greene County
Greene County authorities are seeking information regarding a hit-and-run incident that occurred on August 15, resulting in the death of a pedestrian.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 39-year-old Tobias G. Griffin of Sprott was walking on U.S. Highway 11 around 3:45 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle approximately four miles north of Union. Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers have not yet identified the driver involved in the crash. They are requesting anyone with information to contact them at 205-553-5531.
