PERRY, Okla. (KOKH) — One person is dead following a bus crash involving the Oklahoma State University Softball Team on October 15 at 2:00 p.m.
The collision occurred on I-35 near Perry, where a pedestrian was reported to have been struck by the bus. According to Perry Police, witnesses indicated that the woman was running in and out of traffic at the time of the incident.
Traffic has been diverted from I-35 into Perry, and officials advise to expect heavy delays for at least one to two hours. Officers are positioned at key intersections to manage traffic flow.
Oklahoma State University confirmed that the team's scheduled game against Wichita State has been postponed and noted that no injuries occurred among the passengers on the bus.
