A Park Hills, Mo. man died in a motorcycle collision in Jefferson County on Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 3:09 p.m. on Route V, at Mount Olive Road.
According to the crash report, a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport was turning left onto Mount Olive Road when a 61-year-old Park Hills man, riding a 2008 Honda VTX1300 motorcycle, attempted to brake, leading the Ford to skid.
The Ford then struck the right side of the motorcycle.
The Park Hills man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver, a 54-year-old woman from Imperial, sustained no injuries.
MSHP confirmed both drivers were wearing safety devices at the time of the collision.
