One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash this morning on I-85 in Montgomery County.
The accident, involving a tractor-trailer transporting lumber, occurred around 7:33 a.m. near the 11-mile marker. According to Waugh Fire Chief Anthony Williams, the driver of the tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries, while the second driver was not injured.
Emergency response teams arrived on the scene, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Lane closures were reported as crews worked to clear the roadway.
