Motorcyclist Killed in Pike County Crash
Pike County, AL – A motorcyclist from Crenshaw County died in a crash on Pike County Road 2262 yesterday afternoon.
According to Alabama State Troopers, 45-year-old Robert Walters of Glenwood was riding his motorcycle when it left the roadway and overturned at approximately 2 p.m. Walters was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Pike County Road 2262 and Pike County 2290, roughly seven miles south of Troy.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.
Emergency response units were on scene to assist.
