One Dead in Overnight Crash in Kansas City, Kansas
KANSAS CITY, KAN. — A single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning resulted in one fatality, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:41 a.m. on Interstate 70 near the 12th Street exit. Police reported that the vehicle lost control and subsequently caught fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim, a 25-year-old male, has not been released pending notification of next of kin. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and no additional injuries were reported.
