Topeka police seek public assistance after hit-and-run crash leaves pedestrian dead.

TOPEKA, Kan. — Topeka police are investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a male pedestrian late March 9 at SW 6th and Horne.

The crash was reported at 10:08 p.m., where responders pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene, according to Kim Qualls, senior public relations specialist for Topeka's city government. The name and age of the victim have not been disclosed.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
