KALISPELL, Mont. — A head-on collision on Highway 93 North resulted in one fatality Wednesday night.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., Montana Highway Patrol responded to the incident near mile marker 96.
Authorities reported that a Ford Transit van was traveling northbound and attempted to overtake another vehicle when it struck a southbound Honda Accord head-on.
The driver of the Ford Transit was transported to a local hospital, while the driver of the Honda Accord was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
