One person died and two were injured in a vehicle crash in Dent County on Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the crash occurred at 1:20 p.m. on Highway 72, near County Road 3020.
According to the crash report, a 2017 Honda Accord crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2023 Ford Maverick.
Both vehicles subsequently veered off the roadway into a ditch.
The Honda driver, a 62-year-old man from Conway, Arkansas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver, a 24-year-old man from Mountain View, Missouri, suffered serious injuries, while a 21-year-old man from Winona, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries.
Emergency responders airlifted both the Ford driver and his passenger to a hospital.
MSHP confirmed that both drivers were wearing their seatbelts; however, it is unclear if the Winona man was restrained.
