TOLEDO, Ohio (October 8, 2023) — U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.
The crash occurred shortly before 11 a.m. EDT while Kaptur, 80, was a passenger en route to church, according to her office. Authorities described the incident as a hit-and-run. Toledo Police were at the scene, but further details from the department were not provided.
