Motor Vehicle Collision on I-65 in Birmingham Leaves Two Injured
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 65 North occurred at approximately 2:41 p.m. on Tuesday, resulting in two injuries.
According to ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, the crash involved a sedan and an SUV. Emergency services responded promptly, providing medical aid to the injured parties on site. They were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities confirmed that one lane of I-65 North was closed for about an hour as crews worked to clear the scene. Towing services were also engaged to remove the vehicles involved in the accident.
