OHP Trooper Injured in Rollover Crash While Responding to Wreck on SH-9 Near Longtown.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) trooper was injured in a collision while responding to another crash on SH-9 near Longtown on Monday morning.

According to OHP, the trooper was attempting to pass a vehicle when the other vehicle turned into a private drive and collided with the patrol . The impact caused the trooper's vehicle to roll, pinning him inside for approximately 15 minutes.

Emergency responders from OHP extricated the trooper, who was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

The incident temporarily closed lanes on SH-9 as authorities assessed the scene and conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. No other injuries were reported.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
