AURORA, Colo. — A rollover crash involving two vehicles closed northbound Interstate 225 at Iliff Avenue on Saturday morning.
The Aurora Police Department confirmed the incident occurred early Saturday, prompting the full closure of the roadway. According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, traffic was halted at approximately 2:37 a.m., with all lanes reopened by 9 a.m.
Authorities reported at least one individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Traffic Unit.
