20-Year-Old Woman Killed in Garden State Parkway Accident on August 7
A 20-year-old woman from New York was killed when she was ejected from a vehicle on the Garden State Parkway on August 7, authorities said.
The accident occurred around 2:41 p.m. while the car was traveling north near mile marker 145 in Ocean County. Police reported that the vehicle lost control, resulting in the fatal ejection.
Emergency responders from the New Jersey State Police and local medical services arrived at the scene. The woman was pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
