COLUMBUS, Ohio — A hit-and-run crash on I-670 westbound near the Neil Avenue exit early Sunday, May 31, seriously injured a motorcyclist.
Just after 2:30 a.m., a white sedan traveling westbound on I-670 collided with a dark vehicle moving in the same direction, authorities said.
The impact pushed the white sedan into the path of a motorcycle, throwing the rider, according to police. Medics transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with serious injuries; the victim is stable, police said.
Multiple westbound lanes and the Neil Avenue exit were closed for several hours overnight while crews cleared the scene.
The dark vehicle left without stopping or contacting emergency services, authorities said. The crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run.
