Crash Claims Life in Albany, NH

ALBANY, NH – A 34-year-old man died Saturday evening following a crash on Route 16, according to officials.

Daniel Jennings, of Tamworth, was at the scene around 5:30 p.m., just north of Piper Trail. Authorities reported that he lost control of his motorcycle while traveling north, crossing into the southbound lane where he collided head-on with another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and has since been released from medical care.

Route 16 remained closed for several hours as authorities investigated the crash. Responding agencies included the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, New Hampshire State Police, the Madison Police Department, and the Conway Fire Department, along with the NH Medical Examiner's Office.
