1 Killed in Montgomery County Crash on 270 Freeway near Rockledge Drive

Montgomery County, MD. – One person was killed in a fiery crash that left four other people injured on Friday morning in Montgomery County.

According to the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service (MCFRS), the accident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on I-270 between Rockledge Drive and Old Georgetown Road.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.

One person was killed in the accident.

The four people injured were transported to the hospital.
