One killed in Aurora crash involving motorcycle and vehicles
AURORA, Colo. — One person died Tuesday night in a crash involving a motorcycle, a GMC, and an Acura on E. Mississippi Avenue.
At approximately 11:30 p.m., the driver of a GMC ran a red light while heading northbound on S. Buckley Road, striking the motorcycle and subsequently colliding with the Acura. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office after family notification.
The drivers of both the GMC and the Acura sustained no injuries. Authorities said the GMC driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police do not suspect speed or alcohol contributed to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
