Two dead in multi-vehicle crash after motorcyclist runs red light.

GREELEY, Colo. — Two individuals were killed in a five-vehicle crash caused by a motorcyclist who ran a red light Friday night.

The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of 35th Avenue and W. 10th Street. A motorcyclist, traveling over 100 mph westbound on W. 10th Street, failed to stop at a red light and collided with a southbound vehicle, leading to a crash and subsequent fire.

The 19-year-old male driver of the southbound vehicle died at the scene, according to Greeley Police. His identity has not yet been released. The motorcyclist also succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities are working to identify the motorcyclist and inform their next of kin. As of now, it remains unclear if alcohol or substance use was a factor in the crash.
