Columbus, Ohio — A motorcyclist died after a South Side parking-lot crash Wednesday afternoon, June 25, police said.
The collision occurred at 2:17 p.m. behind Gyro City Grill, 3797 S. High St., according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Authorities said a Can-Am Ryker three-wheeled motorcycle traveling west in the lot was struck from behind by a southbound Cadillac SRX.
The rider was ejected and transported by medics to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in stable condition; he was pronounced dead at 6:15 p.m., police said.
Police did not release the motorcyclist's name. No charges have been announced.
The Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash. Tow information and lane closures were not reported.
