A motorcycle crash left one person in serious condition on Monday in Miller County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south on MO-Y at approximately 3:50 p.m.
According to authorities, the driver, a 54-year-old man from Barnett, Mo., attempted to avoid another vehicle, resulting in the motorcycle overturning.
The man sustained critical injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. MSHP confirmed he was not wearing a helmet during the incident.
MSHP is conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
