JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — A man died following a rollover crash early Friday morning on Hamburg Pike.
Jeffersonville Police responded to the 5800 block of Hamburg Pike for a reported single-vehicle accident at approximately 2:41 a.m. According to authorities, the man was driving at a high rate of speed when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a concrete culvert, and rolled over.
The driver was ejected during the crash and was transported to UofL Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The victim has not been identified at this time.
Investigators have ordered a toxicology report as part of the ongoing investigation. A secondary crash occurred shortly after the initial incident when another vehicle collided with debris on the roadway; no injuries were reported from that event.
