June 19, 2026, 11:56 a.m. CT — The bodies of the eight crew members onboard a United States Air Force B-52 bomber that crashed on June 15 will be flown to Dover Air Force Base for identification and burial preparation on June 19.
Maj. Brad Hovey, a pilot with the 419th Flight Test Squadron from Iowa, is among the victims being transported.
According to the ADM Alumni Association Facebook page, Hovey, a 2009 graduate of the Adel-De Soto-Minburn school district, was an Eagle Scout and recognized for his exceptional singing talent.
