HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday evening following a crash on Fifth Avenue.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 2000 to 2200 block, near Marshall University. Cabell County dispatch confirmed that Fifth Avenue was temporarily closed while emergency responders attended to the scene.
Emergency medical services transported the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital; the extent of their injuries is not yet clear. Authorities have stated that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
