Motorcycle crash in Fitchburg kills Verona man, 54.

FITCHBURG, Wis. (WKOW) — A Verona man died following a motorcycle and SUV collision on Thursday evening in Fitchburg.

According to police, officers responded to the crash around 5:20 p.m. on the 2600 block of South Seminole Highway. A motorcycle, traveling north, collided with an SUV.

The motorcyclist, a 54-year-old man from Verona, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. He was later by the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office. His identity has not yet been released.

The Village of Oregon Police Department and the Dane County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation. There is no information regarding lane closures or vehicle tows at this time.
