89-Year-Old Missing Man Severely Injured in Marshall County Crash

STATE CENTER, Iowa — An 89-year-old man, reported missing from Webster County, sustained severe injuries in a crash in Marshall County on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 30 and Durham Avenue, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. Authorities confirmed that Joshua Good, 38, of Ogden, was driving a and was not injured in the collision.

Robert Craigmile, 89, of Gowrie, was a passenger in a separate vehicle and was severely injured. He had been reported missing the previous day and is currently receiving medical care at a hospital in Des Moines.

The crash remains under investigation. The Iowa Department of Transportation and State Center city leaders are working on reconfiguring the intersection due to its history of frequent accidents.
