GRIMES, Iowa — Two motorcyclists were injured in a crash involving a vehicle Monday afternoon at the intersection of Northwest 44th Street and Northwest 158th Avenue.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene at approximately 2:43 p.m. after reports of a collision involving two motorcycles and one vehicle.
Investigators determined that both motorcycles were traveling southbound on Northwest 44th Street while the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Northwest 158th Avenue during the incident.
Both motorcycle riders sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Polk County Sheriff's Office Traffic Investigators are on scene to determine the cause of the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
