Driver Sought After Ambulance Crash in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Authorities are searching for a driver who fled the scene after colliding with an ambulance on Wednesday at 5:10 p.m. near I-94 and Olson Memorial Highway.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the ambulance was responding with lights and sirens activated when it was struck by another vehicle, which then crashed into a Toyota. The offending vehicle departed the area before authorities arrived.
The three occupants in the ambulance reported no injuries. The driver of the Toyota sustained possible minor injuries, as confirmed by the State Patrol.
Investigators are working to gather further details about the vehicle that left the scene.
