MILWAUKEE – A 17-year-old driver was arrested for fleeing police in a stolen vehicle before crashing into another car on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
The chase began shortly after 5 p.m. near 76th and Good Hope when officers attempted to stop the driver for reckless driving. The pursuit ended approximately two miles away at 76th and Brown Deer.
Police reported finding two damaged vehicles at the crash site, including one that rolled over. The fleeing driver collided with another car at the intersection.
Authorities took the 17-year-old into custody and transported him to a hospital for medical clearance. A 14-year-old passenger in his vehicle sustained injuries and was also taken to a hospital, while the 43-year-old driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.
Details regarding the origin of the stolen vehicle remain unclear, and the extent of injuries among those involved has not been disclosed.
The Milwaukee Police Department stated that criminal charges against the teen will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
