MOUNT HOREB, Wis. (WKOW) — A crash involving a Dane County sheriff's deputy occurred Thursday morning at 8:18 a.m. on U.S. Highway 151 near County Highway F.
The deputy was traveling southbound in a county-owned Chrysler Pacifica when a Chevrolet Malibu sedan failed to yield and collided with the deputy's vehicle. A truck was stopped in the turning bay to turn south onto CTH F at the time of the incident, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
Mount Horeb Police responded to the scene. The deputy involved was uninjured.
Authorities emphasized the importance of remaining attentive while driving.
