Metro Transit Bus Involved in Rollover Crash on I-94
A crash involving a Metro Transit bus and a Kia Soul hospitalized one driver on I-94 near Franklin Ave at 5:46 a.m. Thursday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The collision, which caused the Kia Soul to rollover, resulted in minor traffic delays in the eastbound lanes as emergency responders cleared the scene.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Kia Soul, identified as 25-year-old Jason Escamilla of San Antonio, Texas, was cited for careless driving following the sideswipe incident between the two vehicles.
Traffic cameras captured emergency vehicles responding alongside the Kia, which was positioned on the median.
