COLUMBIA FALLS, MT — A man accused of critically injuring a teenager in a stolen car crash has entered a not guilty plea.
Alfred Flamond, 34, faces three felony charges, including fleeing from police and criminal endangerment, according to prosecutors.
The incident occurred on January 9, 2026, when Flamond allegedly stole a vehicle in Columbia Falls. Witnesses reported that he fled from law enforcement before crashing into the car of 16-year-old Hazel Alexander.
Alexander sustained critical injuries and was Airlifted to a Seattle hospital for treatment. Authorities said Flamond's pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 4, 2026, with the trial set to begin on June 15, 2026.
